Ancient Mesopotamia started about 3500 B.C.E and ended about 539 B.C.E Ancient Mesopotamia ended because of a Persian king took over Neo-Babylonian, and that was the last civilization. In Ancient Mesopotamia there were four Empires. They were the Akkadian Empire, The Babylonian Empire, The Neo-Babylonian Empire, and The Akkasian Empire.
